Trying to solve ’show hidden files/folders’ in your Windows Xp/Sp2? It’s just because the virus or malware is infecting in your system. Mainly it attacks on your REGISTRY on your system so that the hidden virus cannot be seen by the user in the system. So here is the fix

 

Open a notepad, Copy and paste this code

Save as File name: foldersettings.reg

then click Save. Right-click the file, it looks like this

 

And click MERGE then Yes

 Poof! then off you go. Your Show Hidden Files/Folders are now fix without any problem. Make sure that the virus or malware is deleted or quarantined by your updated anti-virus. Any Questions? Just give a comment to the post.
